New DECT support and tweaks ahead of the full rollout.

Following the successful ALPHA and BETA 1 phases, we are now releasing Update 5 BETA 2. We’ve addressed key issues before moving to the final release which is expected shortly.

What’s New in Update 5 BETA 2?

  • Snom DECT M500 Support
    Fully compatible with the Snom M500 series. Learn more about setup and configuration in our Snom DECT Guide.
  • Fanvil DECT W710D Support
    The Fanvil W710D series is now supported. Check out the Fanvil DECT Guide for step-by-step instructions.

Other Fixes

    • Added Itel Solutions SIP Trunk support.
    • Updated Peoplefone Polska settings.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented users from properly accessing Shared Parking via the API.
    • Resolved failed adding of Generic IP Phones due to missing codecs.
    • Increased DID assignment limit on endpoints from 100 to 1000.
    • Fixed Assign/Clear via Web Client & Hotel PMS causing rooms not to be cleared or assigned properly.
    • Resolved duplicate contact lookups when matching a Google contact.
    • Fixed calendar sync timezone issues with Google integration.
    • Fixed rights issue where System Admins could not update department properties in Multi-Company Mode.
    • Fixed remote bridge issues, including errors when adding/removing users, deleting historic chats, duplicate chats, and chat recreation.
    • Fixed button functionality in Call Log Reports.
    • Fixed saving of departments for users assigned to multiple departments.
    • Fixed chat avatars not displaying after updates.
    • Fixed syncing of calendar events for presence when using Google integration.
    • Fixed user pagination in the Web Client Admin Console.

Important: While we’ve always recommended keeping bridges updated using the same version, Version 20 Update 5 introduces key improvements to the bridge API that now require all connected 3CX bridges to be running Update 5 or later for proper communication.

  1. Open the Admin Console.
  2. Look for the update: “Update 5, BETA 2.
